Farewell

Today Rick and I joined bikers and clansmen at a memorial ride and celebration in Manitou Springs for Richard Bell, my mother's long time companion. Richard was killed in a motorcycle accident in Ohio several weeks ago. He had retired early just a year ago to live his dream of riding his Harley Springer across the nation.

Ride from Denver to the Stagecoach Inn in Manitou was followed by graveside service and ride to Franktown. Unfortunately we, and several others were separated from the caravan enroute to the cemetery and missed the graveside ceremony.

We'll all miss Richard, a man who had very little, but was incredibly happy.
