Day 7 - Villandry

Off to Villandry today - yes another chateaux, but we tried to pick different styles each day (and in the Loire it's pretty much wine or chateaux to keep you occupied). A stunner this one - the gardens were the real attraction and they didn't disappoint. 52km of box hedges surrounding intricately planted beds - sounds a bit dull but they had to be seen to be believed.

Back via the town of Amboise where we had an ice cream and a stroll along the main street.
