Day 8 - Sonzay

Another lazy day to end the week - a bit chateauxed out by now. Short drive for provisions and then the rest of the day spent on the patio soaking up the sun, reading, playing Scrabble etc etc - the usual stuff. Finished my 670 page book which was one aim of the week.

A very pleasant bottle of Bourgeil red to accompany the usual baguette, meats and cheeses that we've feasted on all week. Charcuterie to die for around here.
