Crostini

In keeping with the Italian theme from last night, this is one of the ingredients for tonight's crostini appetiser. Crostini means 'little toasts' in Italian and our little toasts were topped with mushrooms cooked in chicken stock, white wine, garlic and capers. Monto gusto!

A day spent clearing and cleaning the flat in preparation for new tennants. When I say a day I'm exaggerating, it was only a few hours this afternoon as second born beautiful boy and his flatmate had already made great inroads with the clear and clean-out.

Also succumbed to the painful experience of ageing and picked-up my first pair of glasses for distance. Amazingly enough, I can see clearly now!
