Sexy?
Spotted this lying on the pavement in our estate this morning ... bet it was a good party, lol!
Had a really tough day today. Ethan has been sleeping through the night for a few weeks now but last night he woke up at 2am and I couldn't get him back to sleep till 4am. He was then up again at 6am and that was him up for the day. He was grumpy, feeding didn't go well, wouldn't have a nap even though he was clearly tired.
I ended up walking to Morrisons late morning to try to get him to drop off. He only fell asleep 5 minutes before we got home and then woke up when I tried to get the pram into the house (really wish we had one of the really new builds which have ramps rather than steps at the front door)! I managed to wolf down brekkie when we got back (12pm!) and then Ethan dozed off for 20 minutes - just as the Gas Man arrived to fix our broken boiler so I didn't even get to take advantage of him sleeping!
A friend dropped round with her twins in the afternoon with some baby clothes for us. Of course Ethan was really well behaved when she was there! I really think he likes being around other children as he loves watching them.
When she left, I drove down to The Centre with Ethan in the hope this would get him to sleep. He slept for another 15 minutes but that was all!
By the time we got home at 4.30pm I was going demented. Feeling like such a bad mummy, I gave him a bottle of formula and put him in his swing in front of the cartoon channel so I could have some lunch. Result, at last - one happy baby! Sigh. If only I'd been able to get him to be so content without resorting to the tv babysitter!
I must have been looking very frazzled when hubbie got home though as he packed me off to bed at 6pm for some rest and I slept for a couple of hours. Bliss!
