Gone to the dogs

Such a beautiful day and there was I stuck indoors work working away. Got a lot done and managed to stay on track despite the lovely warm sunny weather calling me out.

Had a meeting, made a few calls and generally got on with it

Dogs got lots of walks, one from each of the three of us so are now stretched out on various sofas and chairs. I do think Freda is beginnin to get a doggy waistline again but we still have a way to go and she's not the only one! I need to increase my own exercise and get my bike sorted. Think I will put road tyres on it so it can go better on the roads.

The picture is of Molly who lives across the road and with whom Sam is totally besotted. However with her wee short legs she is having a job keeping up with my mob.

Its now 8.30 and still day light great I love long days

#1 son phoned this afternoon to say his siter an he are having a bbq , God help the neighbours, hope they keep it quiet.

Decided to stop wearing my father's Rolex watch. While I enjoyed having a 3k watch on my wrist, as I have twice scraped it off a passing wall and each time I do, I hear my late mother's voice saying "I knew you wouldnt look after it." So after enjoying wearing it for the last 6 months I have decided to put it by in its box for special occassions and its back to my own big rugged Seiko which my dad bought me many years ago. At least I wont have to worry the next time it stoats off a wall when I am passing and hearing my mother tut tutting.
