The Derelict Mental Hospital

They've been slowly demolishing this to make way for new houses. I can't find anything on the net but there has been a mental hospital on the site for over 100 years. The original plans I saw were to retain some of the fine sandstone buildings,. They are all gone except this one. The cynic in me says that an excuse will be found to level this for another three 5 bedroom houses.

Hope I'm wrong as the facade is quite fine.
