A Jolly Day Out
Met as arranged Instography and Delph Wynd Daily as arranged at the Pineapple near Airth for a wander and let the weans go radge. First up was a wander round the ruined tower with it's plundered mausoleum and graveyard. Some kids watch Scooby Doo, ours live the dream. I was particularly impressed with Brian trying to get a good shot of the kids and an empty coffin, before moving on to daffodils. From there we moved onto the ruins of Dunmore House which was an absolute paradise for shots. A gorgeous building laid waste but all the better for blippers out for a shoot and trying to stop their kids falling through the large holes to the basement (or dungeons if you are a kid). Wandering about there I found a pristine microfibre cloth on the ground, neither of my companions would admit to the "Outdoor Photography Magazine" emblazoned cloth.... c'mon it was one of you. Also on the day we missed out on a serious Apocalypse Now helicopter shot as we couldn't load up with teles quick enough, saw a buzzard on the wing, a couple of hares and a woodpecker.
All in all a great day, the boys fed my weans, I fed them and we had a wonderful time, Alex and Ellen supplied the serious cuteness (we could have went for the Mother market with those shots......). Right we'll be doing that again. Thanks again Brian, Steven, Big Euan, Wee Euan and the gorgeous Ellen.
