The Zenit E
This where it all began, the Soviet made Zenit E. Built to withstand an RPG with a kick like one when fired. Fully manual, no batteries, no TTL, no focussing screen, poor ASA setting you used DIN, no automatic step down of aperture and definitely no auto winder.
Photography in the raw not RAW.
So there it is and it's coming out of retirement tomorrow. Assuming my developer is good I'll shoot a roll tomorrow, develop and then scan the negs and post a blip. It's taken me less than five minutes to shoot, process the RAW in Aperture and post. We'll see how long it takes the old way tomorrow. Still haven't a clue what I'm going to shoot, but the chances are it won't be moving very fast.
