Gossip
Ok, so today I ate the best Fish Amok I've ever tasted and I cooked it all myself - I know it is also the first one I've ever tasted but it was soooooo good. The cooking course was great today but it is very, very steamy in Phnom Penh at the moment, your whole body is slippery for most of the day and the deep fat frying and steaming didn't help. You do get used to it and it didn't deter us from producing great works of art which I shall try and reproduce when I get home. Does anyone know if you can get banana leaves in the UK?
I managed to revive myself for a little shopping and Bought a dress and bag - cheapy cheapy of course!
Jess and I were lying by the pool basking in our success when her mobile went off - Harriet and Odile have arrived in the city and this is a photo of the girls catching up on the gossip.
We're off up to Siam Reap early tomorrow with two of Jessie's friends from her house. It's 5 hours plus on a bus, so I'm getting out my backpacker clothes. It will be good to see some countryside.
(Don't worry I don't have a backpack but my Cath Kidston bag instead!)
Hope I can still blip from my new hotel but if I go quite you'll know why:)
