Every day/wash day

Went out to visit the orphanage where Jessie is working today. It's a fantastic village affair and NGO * run,( don't worry if you don't know what an NGO is, I had no idea until I came out here but it trips off all non Khmer tongues out here and now it trips off mine!). The children all live in family groups and receive a great education and what appears to be a good family life. I don't think I'm really allowed to publish photos of the children for various reasons so I took this blip of the daily washing: I love the idea of washing being the same the world over and it's the only chore at home that I really enjoy.

So how does this sound for the Green Cross Code - you walk out in front of the traffic, by which I mean cyclos, motos, tuk tuks and cars and then you SLOWLY cross in front of them all without faltering! Really I just can't do it, I panic and run and this is WRONG - it confuses the traffic but I can't stop myself.

I definatly have a French look about me! Again these French people keep talking to me in French - don't worry I'm doing my best not to disappoint.

Cooking course tomorrow- might be the start of a new career - night:)
