Through the bedroom window

I took this picture before the sun rose - it was an interesting sky but as I didn't fancy missing it while I got dressed, or even going out with loads of clothes on, this is it from inside the bedroom window. Of course I'm surprised that you can see any of it through the dirt as cleaning windows, or indeed cleaning anything, is low on my list of priorities.

I've not been out at all today. I feel fine after my 12 miles yesterday, but have loads of stuff to do re packing gifts and writing to friends to go with the cards. Mr C has got the boxes of decorations out of the loft - but has not ventured in the woods to get the necessary item from which to hang said decorations.

I hear the forecast is snow for tomorrow when we are taking our walking group to the Wooler hills. It'll be interesting to see how many turn up!
