Flooded Coquet

An 8 or 9 hour flight from Dubai to Newcastle, followed by a short metro ride, a quick cuddle with Ella and Nathaniel, then an hour's drive home. I couldn't park in the village as the riverside car park was under water, but at least I got a blip for the day of the floods.

Two loads of washing are done, a friend called for a cup of tea, and now I'm going to try to stay awake with a bath, followed by the treat of some Kettles crisps and a G and T.

Jenny and I had a brilliant time in Myanmar.

I won't be eating rice in the foreseeable future.
