Fred & Andy

By FredAndy

A good send off from Lwang

This morning after breakfast the family presented us with garlands as a good luck gesture which was lovely. We also got fresh oranges picked straight from the tree. We trek for just over four hours today, steadily downhill again. All this downhill makes us realise just how far up we came in the first place.

We end our trek in Dhampus and its our last night. Dhampus is far more touristy than any of the places we have stayed in so far and we even have an en suite although no hot water for a shower so we brave a cold one.

Andy begins to play his violin and notices a weird vibration so he spends a few frustrating hours in the room trying to figure out the problem while Fred reads in the bar chatting to Dharma and some locals. The violin is still playing up but Andy joins everyone else for the last night and we have dinner then share a couple of small bottles of rum before going to bed.
