Grey Heron sketch

I have not taken many photos in recent days. Garden birds not co-operating and its been so dull and grey recently.

With the days shortening and nights getting longer I have eventually got myself round to starting to sketch again. So to get my hand eye co-ordination back I have been trying to copy from photographs.

I find drawing birds quite difficult, beaks and eyes never seem to be in the correct place. I am quite pleased with this quick sketch of a Grey Heron, I deliberately tried to draw quickly.
