Leo the Lion with the white tail

This lion is on top of the station building.

Many years ago when the station had more than one platform there were large engine sheds next to the station, but they are now the local Co-op, hence the rather incongruous 'Post Office' and 'Pharmacy' signs.

The lion has a white tail because the old one dropped off or was knocked off (can't remember which) and they had to fix a new one.
