Sheba and her master

A walk this morning took me past the Parish Church where work on the steeple was being carried out, as can be seen on flickr https://www.flickr.com/photos/darkpeakbirds/15745008778/ (yet again unable to insert a link)

In the doorway to the church was this lovely collie who was lying patiently waiting for her master. I didn't get the photo I wanted of her curled up in the doorway as soon as I stopped she got up and came slowly to see me. Her master was sweeping out the church. We said hello and I mentioned I had hoped to take the dogs picture and he kindly posed in the doorway for me. I thanked them both, unfortunately I didn't ask the gentleman's name but the dog is called Sheba.
