Fen road

After five days of dire, murky weather the sun came out and as we drove across the fen, the tarmac gleamed and the sun dazzled. That was the highlight of the day as after church, I decided to continue working. It is so much more pleasant working without frequent distraction. In fact, I always do the most complicated work shut away by myself as I cannot afford to be distracted and make a mistake. With the wonders of FaceTime, I watched the youngest granddaughter decorating the Christmas tree while discussing some techy issues with my son. I discover a frozen kipper in the freezer which went nicely on homemade toasted onion bread for lunch.
