Christmas Market at Night

A busy day in Strasbourg as people descended for the first weekend of the Christmas Markets. The best technique was to fall in behind the flow and accept that progress would be slow.

By far the majority of stalls were offering food and drink although I have to say the hygiene on some stalls left a lot to be desired. Fortunately we collected supplies from the local bakery and decamped to Stephen's flat close to Plas de Broglie one of the Christmas Markets.

My favourite time of day is the evening when the amazing Christmas lights illuminate the streets. Today's photograph is in Place de la Cathedrale with the stalls still attracting custom late into the evening.
