Here is Emma Charley's first solo feature, our 'baby'

Emma as a newborn:
-looks so much like Miles did as a baby
-Observant, quiet, chill little lady
-Loves to snuggle chest to chest, we think because it makes her tummy feel better as she is a spitter-upper! (she also hiccups alot - which she did all the time in my belly!)
-she likes to have her arms free versus the full swaddle.
-about her name. Despite obviously liking the name, I knew my great grandma's name was Emma and it turns out one of Mitch's great grandmas name was Emma too. And Charley is after my dad (Grandpa C) who is the person I measure everyone else against.

Mimi and grandpa c came to get Miles this morning as we had the girls' 2 day appointment today. Both girls gained some weight and overall looked great. Although they wanted to test Hadley's bilirubin levels which took 4 pokes in her foot to get enough blood (poor girl!). Tests came back good though. Mimi and Grandpa C got some holding time with the girls when they dropped off Miles and then again we took a family snooze.

After dinner Miles helped me feed Emma's supplement bottle while Mitch gave Hadley hers. Miles shouted out, "Are you ok back there daddy?" Mitch and I tried so hard not to laugh, but mostly I teared up because it was so sweet!

Side note: Miles always knows which baby is which. I'm not kidding. It's amazing. Like tonight when we showed him this picture he said, "that's Emma!"
