...and baby makes 3

Hadley's close up.

Here is Hadley Faye, our first born daughter (by two minutes).

A few things about Hadley as a newborn:
-She has dimples! That was the first thing the doctor said as she was delivered, she must have come out smiling.
-She is very animated and has lots of expressions, which made my little photo shoot difficult to choose just one.
-She sucks on her fingers & thumbs
-Has a very strong neck and the few hours she is awake is always trying to see what's out there
-She is a little more needy than her sister. If she can see you she prefers to be held.
-About her name: we came across Hadley when looking at top baby girl names by state on the social security website. Hadley was a top 20 name for baby girls in Nebraska, where daddy is from. And her middle name is after my amazing grandma, Donna Faye, who I still miss everyday and would have loved these babies so much.

We had a great first night at home. The girls slept until I would wake them to feed and then go right back to sleep (knock on wood!). Which allowed us to feel a little more normal today. The day started with a two hour couch snuggle session with mama (both girls) before we drove to get drive thru coffee as a family. Hadley cried on the way there and when we asked Miles why she was crying he told us, "because she's not sitting next to me" Probably, because he is such a great big brother. Grandpa Mikey and Nana came over for lunch and to watch the Nebraska game and after we all had a good nap with lots of snuggle time with the ladies. And then another good night with the family. Big brother duties Miles likes best so far include telling us when a baby is crying, rocking their swings and patting their backs while we burp them.
