Leaves

I was surprised by this oak tree this morning! It has so many leaves on it, almost like an evergreen!
But the hedge has been cut and, importantly, the ditches have been well and truly cleared.
We had a wonderful walk in the sunshine, followed by a coffee at home (Russet had a biscuit) and then outside again to try and sweep up some of the many leaves lying on our drive. Most of these were beech, still looking full of colour even on the ground.
A quick trip out, and back in the garden this afternoon! Plenty to do!
Just need a few more dry days - actually I probably need a fortnight to keep on top of those leaves!
