Don't stick your neck out!

I found these two calves in a misty field this morning, on their own. All the other cows around seem to have been taken in now.
They pushed their heads through two strands of barbed wire, then pulled them back quickly, shaking their heads as they must have felt the barbs!
Poor things. At least the sun came out to give them a bit of warmth!
I was surprised by my 1000th blip yesterday, having thought I had a day or two to go! Not so easy to check on the iPad as on the laptop! Thank you to everyone who posted congratulatory comments! It was very encouraging !
