In The Occupied Territory

By FinHall

Under cover of darkness

Had a particularly loopy passenger last night.
A posh, English born ( but long term resident of Scotland), land owner. He, not I, started talking about the referendum.
He believes that Scotland is too small to look after itself, that without Trident, Russia would invade us, that the army should not be out helping with the Ebola crisis, it should be fighting and conquering as that's what we( with the fighting Scots in the regiments) are good at, Scots all love fighting. Etc.
this man needs to get out of the darkness and let some modern light into his world.
When I quoted him some facts, he said he didn't believe 'facts'.

His brother was a high ranking officer in the army and was pleased as he got all his men home safely from .......

Ireland.
