A dry day today though overcast. All the holes I've dug for the trees are full of water. So instead I made some small steps towards digging a pond. The small creek that goes down one side of our property has started to flow, so I have been looking at damming it and creating a small natural pond. The heavy clay does make for heavy lifting though.

Stopped early as we are off to the Gardening Club's AGM where Mrs G will be instated as the Vice President. She's looking good in a new outfit and has even found time to make a table decoration for the competition. Me? Well I am out of my gardening gear and actually think I may not disgrace Mrs G.
