Paperwhites

Mrs G has made a beautiful display of the paperwhites (narcissus). We are hoping they'll be in flower for Christmas but they seem to be ahead of schedule. Which might be the Yin to our Yang as we are usually behind on any Christmas preparations.

Rain again today. I did get out and dig some holes for our new trees. This was easier than I had feared. The ground has been softened by the rain. In fact all the holes filled up with water almost as soon as I had dug them. I had got down to a heavy clay layer. I am going to need to improve the drainage. Or we could just make a pond!
