Beautiful Mornings

Hi Tom

Oh boy did it rain yesterday. The water came right up to the top step. This morning it was icy too. Very slippery on the decking...I found that out very quickly!

I took a few photos with my phone early this morning while I was out with the dogs. This was from our decking. The garden is covered in water but I think it's really quite beautiful. There was a mist coming off the water. I stayed out for ages with my coffee looking at it. Thinking how lucky I am to be able to see this. Mornings are my favourite time of day....very early mornings....I love them.

I watched the geese from across the river come swimming in the garden. Then the ducks came for a swim. Then I was watching all manor of things come floating by. I'm glad no one could see me in my dressing gown and wellie boots.

When I could finally get out of the house today I went to see how Dan was getting on. I saw his scar. His leg is extremely swollen. I stayed with him for an hour or so then went shopping. I've done enough for the week and I'm not going back until the weekend. I feel I spend half my life in tesco.

Missed boot this morning for obvious reasons so I'm looking forward to my Pilates class tonight.

Not long and I'll be picking you up from Heathrow :) x
