Gingerbread.......

......as far as the eye can see!

Mr W worked last night. My work today has just been cancelled. Realised I was in for a long, quiet day while he slept so no hoovering (shame!), no noisy mixers (boo), no TV (no hardship)....so I looked into the possibility of making a gingerbread house!!!! I found a recipie that just involved melting rather than electric mixing and hey presto. I have my own body weight of Heart Shaped Ginger Biscuits to eat now!!! (Checking out the dough before embarking on the House building!)

When he wakes up and I can start making noise again, I shall practise making some royal icing and decorate the biscuits, in preparation for icing the Blipping Fake Off Cake!

Perhaps we should have a Gingerbread House Bake Off too!!??!!

I also made Pizza Dough but it didn't rise. Checked the yeast AFTER making it.....it expired in 2012! So I made some more with IN date yeast! Its just taken over the kitchen!!!
