Park End

Very early in the day (or very late the night before perhaps) at Park End. This is Leo. He's our JCR President and also a third year Geographer. Such a great guy, always willing to help with work but also just chat and be friendly.

Park End is a brilliant night, but it's always hard to get up the next morning! After lectures we had an afternoon of fieldwork in Cowley with a variety of things, including looking at the 'everyday geographies' of the area before attending a few short talks/interviews about the area. Then a few of us went to see John Sweeney talk at the Oxford Geography Society (conveniently usually held at Jesus) about his undercover time in North Korea. Afterwards we went for some food at Itsu/Pret which was nice. It was great to be out with people that aren't from college too, it definitely helps to have a range of friends from different places/subjects to keep you from going crazy.
