Couldn't resist...

My son and I went to NICU fairly promptly this morning as Baby R has a weekly opticians check on an eye problem prevalent with preemies. Today we had good news in that the situation is improving and won't now require laser surgery - such a relief. She had excellent " kangaroo care" with my son before we left her happily tucked up taking her feed from the feeding tube. She is being tempted by the bottle twice a day but is still reluctant to take more than 25mls each time.

On our way home we stopped at a nearby quilt shop which I had found on the internet. My son asked if 15 minutes would be enough time for me in there .... You may imagine my response! I had great fun especially as I was specifically looking for some fabric for a friend back home. I think I found some but need also to check out another shop nearer The Strip.

It has been a good day.
