In hiding
It is hard to believe but this is the same view as the one I blipped on 10th November, albeit from a slightly different angle. The dark, rain filled sky totally covered the hills today and it was only as I returned to my car that a random shaft of sun hit the tops of the larch trees and lit them up to bring a magical light to an otherwise drab scene .... these are the same trees that also cross the middle section of my previous blip. Sometimes folk can come up here for a week's holiday, or more, and never know what a glorious view lies ahead of them and now perhaps you will understand why I was so thrilled on Sunday to be able to capture the snowy tops together with the autumn foreground colour, as it doesn't happen very often!
