Monstrosities

If you had been following my Blip recently, then you will know that I am attempting to downsize. Out of the blue I came across this pair of monstrosities and it took me back over thirty years when in Kenya I was accosted by street vendors (dozens at a time) promoting these items as "Carved Ebony Bookends." I, as a tourist got "sucked in" of course knowing full well that they were made out of some poor quality timber in somebodies back yard.
I suppose there was some thought in that I was supporting the economy.
What to do with them. I wonder if E bay could be the answer after all they are "Ebony?"
