Having owned and operated a music store for many years going back to the early 60s, I had the opportunity to obtain many unusual items namely these "Picture Discs."
Highly popular with record enthusiasts at the time, they have now become extremely rare and much sort after.
Even with the advent of CDs and recently MP3s, there is a growing interest in the old fashioned vinyl recordings and some say the interest has never waned.
