Dining Japanese style

Decided to go out dining for a change not realizing the significance of the day of the week. First, our favourite Chinese restaurant all booked out so off to the nearby Korean restaurant and although a large establishment, also no tables available under an hour or two. We knew about another Chinese one across the road but upon checking it out we discovered it was closed maybe for renovation.
MacDonalds seemed to be a good thing but on the way a Japanese "moving train" restaurant was a better option. Very enjoyable but didn't know when to stop.
