AT THE POND IN THE HEEMPARK

Mischa and I sat for a while and looked over the shiny watersurface. The sun shines, we sit for a moment, we are on our way to the Gamma DIY shop.
In the morning we had painted, a small job, because there is a big window and a door there.
Quite a few decisions Mischa will have to make, regarding curtains and a decoration pane and a carpet may-be. And looking for colours that will do for the living room, our next job (in december).
All very exiting but tiring as well.
We sat at the pond, saw the swans, they seemed to float over the water, and nearby a duck stood very relaxed in the low water, just like us. When a coot came along and a heap of other ducks came landing near him, he left his place in a hurry but came later back to sit at the same spot.

My haiku:

Could we just learn from
That silent duck, from our past
Experiences

And the quote by Longfellow in Yable Talk:

As turning the logs will make a dull fire burn, so change f studies a dull brain.
