To Edinburgh today to chair the see me Advisory Group. I had wonderful conversations with a whole range of fascinating and committed people, making me once more rejoice in the gift of the work I have. It is such an antidote for a world that can appear to be full of trickery. It reminds me not to be blinded 'to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals; and everywhere life is full of heroism.'
