Growing old disgracefully

By GOD

CHOCOLATE BOXY

It was a day of splendid light and colour on Loch Lomondside. The mountains were delineated by the shadows of the low lying sun, every gully and shoulder standing out as though in a Wainwright drawing. All the landscapes I shot looked a bit too perfect, so I went for bit of frosty grass bokeh instead.

After a long working week, it was grand just to be out walking and lunching with the Professor. I started the day before dawn, riding in the van of a steam train with the Professor and the VIP. When I woke, I realised that I was anticipating missing the wee fella today (his other gran is in town). But, frankly, I am glad of the rest.
