Bundy Birdlife

Well honestly I had no idea what bird was about to blip tonight until I googled it. CCN and I had a lovely walk in the Botanical Gardens late this afternoon and the bird life was abundant. These two characters were more than happy to oblige when we walked along the board walk which crossed the pond.

They are in fact the Purple Swamphen. It took me a while to track them down but eventually I found them on a great site called Bird Life of Australia.

I'm going to revisit the gardens as often as possible as there were so many photographic opportunities. By the way, I urge you to view the LARGE version!!
