the last leaves

Popped out for a 10 minute walk down the lane before we set off for home. I noticed this tree with just a few leaves left hanging on and then realised how good the sky was.

A fabulous few days with son and daughter (not forgetting son in law who drove us around and cooked Sunday breakfast). We've left Ewan to stay another night with sister Jane who will take him to the station tomorrow.
