puddles

It was a lovely morning but top priority was a car wash. A bit chilly at 8.30 but worth the effort.  After that a drive along Langdale and a walk (or 3).

It looks like it rained all the time we were away as indicated by the water on the roads and the fast flowing streams and rivers. Walk number one up to Blea Tarn was abandoned very early when I encountered a flooded footpath. I then headed up towards Stickle Tarn but it turned grey and started to rain (which meant the camera went away).  Back to the car and along to Elterwater where it was dry so I got a walk along to the lake.
