Promenade des Anglais

We drove twice the 8 miles into Nice today. In the afternoon, although it is a Sunday in late October, we averaged 15 mph! The rest of the week we will use public transport. We also drove the few miles to Antibes but that was even slower! It was a relaxing day but I am getting the impression that the Côte d'Azur is a beautiful place spoilt by its dense population and unregulated construction in the past. The Côte Vermeille on the other end of the French Mediterannean is prettier in my opinion but I am biased! We are looking forward to more exploring tomorrow.
