Home day

It's been a while and we have all really enjoyed a cosy home day today. After a luxuriously long lie-in Anna and I had brunch (this is her pepper and caper omelette) before heading to dancing. I headed to my usual haunt for coffee and to do a little work reading before being happily distracted by the turning up of friends.

A little to our surprise, and despite the hoarse voice, J headed off to football training.

All back home for lunch and to put the washing machine through its paces and to do some house sorting. A couple of shopping trips, including for me a solo trip to the supermarket for a "few things" and once again proving that I shouldn't be allowed to do that on my own.

And of course the only way to end this cosy home day is home cooking, Strictly and The Doctor.
