Indian Embassy in Hanoi

We travelled back to Hanoi this morning with a bus/ferry/bus combo. Interesting ferry ride as half the passengers were sat with the motorbikes and luggage (including us) but only a short hop.

Back in Hanoi at the same hotel as we liked it here last time and we thought we'd start to make enquiries about our Indian visas as the embassy here isn't far away and we're not sure of the procedure as we're outside the UK.

After a bit of a walk this is what we found when we arrived ... of all the days to choose! Didn't even know it was Diwali which wouldn't have been possible in Derby. Wonder if there will be any fireworks tonight?
