Himalayan Monal

This is the national bird of Nepal and we might not see another one on this trip, so no mountains today! We are now in Khumjung in Pema's home and lodge. Fabulous views from here and also on the trek from here on. Here is Thamserku 6,723m which has only been climbed once.

The female is here, she is, in some ways, more beautiful!
