Snow and Larches

.... sums up this area of Rhêmes-Notre-Dame, at the moment. It is so beautiful. I have put a small collection of photos on Flickr, https://www.flickr.com/photos/hilarysview/?, and one of the village in extras. Today was an exhausting walk but I did get to the Col de l'Entrelor at 3,085m, the highest point I have been this year. The final push in deep snow is not something I shall do again in a hurry. On the way up I saw serval chamois but have not seen any bouquetin on this trip.
