Breakfast in America

Begin the day with huge piles of bacon & eggs & pancakes & syrup & coffee & orange juice & toast...though not, thankfully, all on the same plate.

This fuels us nicely for a day of sightseeing. Get the tourist bus around Lower Manhattan to Battery Park, take the Staten Island ferry for the views, and then stroll back towards Little Italy.  Here we get excellent pizza at Lombardi's, where the FDNY thoughtfully make a 3-appliance appearance at a nearby fire.  

Throughout the day, Andy and George get plenty of comments on their American Football jerseys. With his knack for making an impression, Andy has chosen one with the name of a recently-injured player for the NY Giants.  George's choice of the Redskins...not so popular.

At the end of a full day, we wend our way home via the grandeur of Grand Central.
