Cromer

Today we ventured up the Coast to Cromer, we were originally going to base our break around the Broads but decided that a visit to Cromer and a drive back along the Coast Road would be great as the weather was so glorious!

We drove to Cromer and had lunch, fresh Cromer Crab, absolutely delicious and bring back memories of me sharing it with Dad, although when I was younger I only liked the white meat! The Pier, Church and view from the beach in this photo bring back lovely memories, I do love the North Norfolk coast and for once today it wasn't blowing a gale!

We then drove down the coast stopping briefly at Walcot then on to Cart Gap which is a little further south from Happisburgh and now has the Lifeboat Station here as sadly the one at Happisburgh is no longer usable due to coast erosion. We paddled in the sea here and even Ted came in, getting braver with water but still not happy with the crashing waves!

We had a brief stop at the Horsey Wind Pump but ran out of time to visit the seal colony at Horsey Gap.

Ted's tail seems to have improved, still slightly over to one side but more wagging going on!
