River Bure

Lazy start to the day, actually slept well for a change!

We decided on a walk from one of the Broads Villages, Horstead, which turned out to be a rather nice little village. The walk took us along the River Bure and back along farm tracks to the village. The weather was great, bit too warm at times!

Ted is not very sure about water, unless it's very shallow, but today he was very brave and ventured in for a swim and once he found he could swim and fetch things from the river he wanted to do it non-stop! He had great fun and so did we watching him!

We called into Wroxham on our way back, very busy town and every shop seemed to be owned by 'Roy'!

The walk was nearly 5 miles and my legs ached and felt weak about a mile from the finish, I was a bit upset to feel like that but I guess it's only 5 weeks since Chemo finished so maybe I am being a bit hard on myself! After the drive home and a cuppa I felt better.
