Kitchen coming along

Moved the apartment on a fair bit today, got some help in so I could make this small push.

Essentially, I put most of the new wall texture up last night so we could paint today. Which we did. The apartment is now mostly in it's final colours although it will need a second coat. This is the kitchen so far. Which is a long way from the kitchen a week ago.

The lone brown cabinet will be removed shortly to make way for a dishwasher - that was probably in that gap in the first place. I am HOPING there are some electrics in that gap somewhere.....

Also managed to cut up the carpet we took out 2 weeks ago. I used a breathing mask. No joke. It was that bad. Took about 30 minutes but it's now in bags. As my wife says "carpet comes in by the foot, goes out by the pound". About 100lbs in this case.

Run into another small problem that the sprayer we have is not happy and I really need to spray the kitchen cabinet doors - it gives a much better finish. I really don't want to paint them by hand.
