Murdered Fence

Well, my fence was minding it's own business this afternoon, basking in the sun when a Cadillac burst onto the corner and ran it down. Not before it hit a Lincoln LTZ or something, but even still, took out a couple of posts and a mailbox.

The guy driving promptly jumps out and runs off, whilst his comrades sit on the right of way across the road waiting for the State Trooper to arrive.

Anyway, he arrives back eventually, already has a suspended licence, already has conviction for driving with no insurance and driving whilst suspended, and it goes on and on. Did they arrest him? No, just a court date for the future, and I'm sure the upstanding member of society will turn up for it. Even the trooper looked a bit defeated at the futility of the system.
